Financial Assistance is now secured!

CANIMUN Grants will be awarded to selected delegates to cover a portion of the TRAVEL COSTS associated with their trip to CANIMUN only. These grants will be available thanks to funding is provided by Exchanges Canada. UNA-Canada's priority is to support delegates who are unable to attend a Model UN conference as a result of financial constraints.

We strongly urge applicants to actively pursue other means of funding while awaiting to hear a decision from UNA-Canada.

Guidelines

1. Only one application per person. Group applications will not be considered.

2. Only applications that demonstrate strong financial need will be considered.

3. The Applicant must reside in Canada.

4. A grant amount cannot be negotiated.

Selection Criteria

An internal Committee will review the application in accordance with the above guidelines and the following criteria:

1. Applications must be clear and complete. Incomplete applications will be automatically rejected without notification.

2. A commitment to finding alternate sources of funding must be clearly demonstrated.

3. Distance travelled will be given strong consideration.

4. Applications must be submitted online. Mailed applications will not be accepted.

5. Applications received after the specified deadline will not be considered. Applications will be evaluated only once the deadline has passed.

Only those applicants who have been selected as Grant Recipients will be notified. Recipients will be notified as soon as possible. If CANIMUN Grants are available, they will only be distributed at CANIMUN 2008, on Friday, March 14, 2008, 6:30PM)
